Installing NewsMaker on Mac |
Select the type of installer you have:

Downloading from the website
|

CD Installer
|
|
If you are downloading the installer from the website, follow the instructions below to install NewsMaker:

When you are downloading the installer, you will be prompted with the screen as shown below.

| |

Note: Depending on the Web browser that you are using, the screen shown here may be
different from the one you may see on your computer.

You may choose Open with or Save File. If you have chosen Save File, make sure you remember where you have saved your installer to.

Regardless of what you have chosen, the installer will begin to download as shown in the figure below. If you have chosen Open with (StuffIt Expander), the mpkg package will be extracted automatically. If you have chosen Save File, you have to double click on the zip file to extract the mpkg package.

Once the installer is downloaded, double click on the mpkg package to run the installer as shown in the figure below.

You will now be shown with a Welcome message. Click Continue to start the installation process.

You will ask to read the End User Licensing Agreement (EULA) and installation will continue after you have agreed to the EULA.

Follow the instructions by the Setup Wizard to complete your installation.

8. |
Once you have successfully installed the NewsMaker software, you should be able to see the NewsMaker icon in the destination folder you specified. |

Before you start launching the NewsMaker software, remember to plug in your webcam and microphone.

If you have the CD installer, follow the instructions below to install NewsMaker:

Insert the CD Installer into your Mac Intel computer and browse the CD-ROM for the Mac folder and run the NewsMaker mpkg file and a Setup Wizard screen will automatically be shown as below. Click Continue to start the installation process.
