Setting the right audio device to have better audio quality

If you are using NewsMaker in a room, like a classroom or a computer lab, where many people will be recording at the same time, it is advisable to use an external microphone instead of a webcam's built-in microphone.

If you are using an external microphone, make sure that the Audio Device reflects that. To do that, click on the Audio/Video button below the webcam preview screen in Step 2: Reading and select the right device under Audio Devices as shown in the diagrams below.

 

   

 

 

 

3.   Do a short recording and then play back to ,make sure that the audio quality is acceptable. Otherwise, either choose another Audio device or use another microphone.
